Biography
The para-church student organization Young Life introduced Brandon Heath to the Bible as a youth, and the gift of a guitar at age 13 uncovered an aptitude for music. Those two loves merged to create a promising career for the Nashville native. Early on, after his guitar was stolen, Heath was inspired to create a demo CD to raise funds for a replacement instrument. His 2006 debut, Don't Get Comfortable, was followed by What If We in 2008. The singer-songwriter's career heated up fast after being named 2008's New Artist of the Year at the Dove Awards; multiple Dove Awards and Grammy nods followed.
