This is the way Southern country rock was meant to be enjoyed: played live and loud in front of a rowdy roadhouse crowd of believers. This double disc was recorded over two nights at Tulsa, Oklahoma's historic Cain's Ballroom (home of Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys) and 18 of these tracks were fan-requested favorites. One listen at loud volume and you can almost see the proud-to-be-a-redneck audience, and whiff the stale beer and fragrant smoke wafting through the air.
