Devo tip the balance even more towards synths while keeping the lean new wave guitars on this follow-up to Freedom of Choice, which was a surprise pop breakthrough. Neither singles "Through Being Cool" or "Beautiful World" are quite up to the level of past Devo tunes, but they, like the entire album, have weathered the decades well. This edition contains a number of bonus cuts that sound very 2010. You decide whether "Beautiful World" is Devo's sweetest song or their most biting.
