Duke

Known for both his humor and his lyrics of black pride, Duke won the Calypso monarch competition four times with songs like "Black is Beautiful" and "Black Skin." His supremely melodic voice and relaxed delivery are imbedded in horn-blasting, pan-chiming, rhythm-pumping carnival music.
