The Swedish songwriter's second album (and official American debut) takes a synth-driven tour through 2010s radio pop. A chronic collaborator, guest spots this time around come from Major Lazer ("Love Me Long"), a giddy, beat-locked Azealia Banks ("Everybody"), and a skittering title anthem produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek. (Bonus feature: The Skrillex production "Spoon Me" mashes up earnestly romantic verses with a chorus that takes every ridiculous opportunity the title offers.) Elliphant’s melodies and swollen sense of ecstasy will sound pretty familiar (Dr. Luke assists in the assembly of two songs), but her own presence can be infectiously goofy.
