Future Brown, the underground electronic supergroup of Fatima Al-Qadiri, J-Cush and the duo Nguzunguzu, are technically a quartet, but it's the guest vocalists who really carry the day on the group's self-titled debut album. The Chicago singer and rapper Tink bookends the album with sex talk and badass attitude; London grime MC Riko Dan laces "Speng" with baritone menace; and Maluca brings Auto-Tuned reggaetón chants to "Vernáculo." Throughout, Future Brown's beats are as brittle as you'd expect from this crew, bristling with icy synths and glassy drums.
