Natalie Grant wants you to be the change you wish to see in the world. At least that’s what she’s singing about on her personal project, Be One. This family affair is produced by her husband Bernie Herms (Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban), “Nothing But the Blood” features vocals from her brother Steve, and the track “Ever Be” includes vocals by Grant’s three young daughters. The singer also co-wrote 11 of the tracks and took more control of the overall process. Grant even went back to some of her vocal heroes from the ’80s for inspiration, and the result is a sparkling pop project.
