Biography
A female Dancehall artist hailing from Jamaica, Patra released her first solo album in 1993. Highly skilled on the mic, she delivers soulful singing as well as fiery ragga flows set to hip-hop beats and up-tempo instrumentation. Funky organs and spirited horns set the pace for her impressive lyricism, underscored with heavy bass bumps and occasional backing vocalists.
