The Clash (Remastered)

The Clash

image
Released: Apr 1977
Label: Sony Music UK
The power chords may have been borrowed from the Who, and their sense of purpose lifted from the Sex Pistols, but the Clash's debut showcased something wholly their own. Fierce, politically engaged music with just a hint of Reggae peeking through the Punk Rock anthems. This is the original, U.K. release -- the U.S. version dropped four tunes for some later singles.
