Thug Matrimony: Married To The Streets (Edited)

Trick Daddy

image
Released: Oct 2004
Label: Atlantic/Slip N' Slide
It's hard to call an album that proposes a "dick sucking marathon" mature, but Thug Matrimony is less absurdly vulgar than previous Trick releases. "F*ckin' Around" and "Menage a Trois" are vintage Dirty South gutter funk, while the single "Sugar (Gimme Some)" offers subtle (at least for Trick) sexual metaphors and an interpolation of the Talking Heads.
