Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras Radio

by Napster

Each year, thousands of party-goers flock to New Orleans to revel in the festive atmosphere of Mardi Gras. As one writer from the Times-Picayune put it, Fat Tuesday is the culmination of the “throw me somethin’, mister” season, and excess is the name of the game. From elaborate beads—and other baubles zealously tossed from day-glow parade floats—to outrageous barely-there costumes, and yes, to drinking beyond reason, Mardi Gras is a one-of-a-kind celebration, amplified by the music!

Can't make it all the way to Bourbon Street to celebrate Fat Tuesday? We bring the bayou to your back door with our Mardi Gras radio station. Celebrate the season with our very own parade of piano boogie, Crescent City horns, Dixieland bands, funky zydeco, Nawlins R&B and Indian chants. Watch out for those flying beads, and laissez les bons temps rouler!
