Jumping from Dixieland hokum to banjo-and-Hawaiian-guitar Jimmie Rodgers hillbilly blues, glee-club vaudeville to Barcelona brothel jazz, the Missouri old-timey revivalist serves up several shades of shtick. The opening title track, about a crazed Indiana girl, suggests a rustic Squirrel Nut Zippers while playing fast and loose with minstrel stereotypes involving fried chicken and watermelon. But "Cairo, Illinois" -- the flood-prone town where the Ohio River meets the Mississippi -- and Hoosier Hot Shots-inflected finale "Knockin' The Dust Off The Rust Belt Tonight" do the Midwest right.
