Still reliably climbing Latin charts after 13 studio albums in twice as many years, Mexico’s multi-talented telenovela diva runs a fun gamut of styles on Latina, including traditional swing nostalgia (“Poquita Fe”), biting salsa pop (“Enemigos”) and romantic power ballads (“Vuélveme a Querer,” “Vivir Junto a Ti.”). Thalia brought plenty of star power this time around, duetting amid Andean flutes with Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma on “Desde Esa Noche,” with Colombian Vallenato vocalist Silvestre Dangond on the accordion-driven “De Ti,” and with Jamaican electro-reggae cheerleader Omi amid dubstep breaks and Middle Eastern touches in the bilingual “Todo.” “Tiki Tiki Ta (Una Momento)” is a cute and bouncy chant equipped with Auto-Tune and alarm clock, while the most boisterous track, a full-on merengue-percussive “Frutas” with ChikyBombom La Pantera, is a celebration of fruit.
