Apparently cashing in on the recent explosion of wineries hosting classic rock concerts, the aptly named Winery Dogs are a supergroup consisting of musicians from veteran acts Poison, Mr. Big and Dream Theater. Those of you keeping score know exactly what to expect -- groovy riff rock with soaring choruses and dizzying chops -- and that's exactly what they deliver. Though there certainly are times when they get a little too fancy (after all, bassist Billy Sheehan has always been about the flash), for the most part, The Winery Dogs prefer working within the parameters unique to each tune.
